Steppe crickets grow faster and are fully grown at around 5 weeks. The crickets, need 6-7 weeks. Home-grown steppe crickets or crickets can be kept in our holding boxes for 6-8 weeks without any problems.

The crickets hatch about 10 days after the eggs are laid, steppe crickets take 2-3 days longer.
